Gospel is a word we often hear. But what does it mean?
Dr Paul Barnett asked me to write a commentary on Romans that people could read in the train on their way to work. I spent eighteen months preaching through the letter with the St Matthew’s Church Shenton Park congregation, and set to work on the commentary when I moved to South Africa. As well as trying to understand Paul’s thought I worked hard at getting the right application to modern life.
