While I was teaching in South Africa the Presiding Bishop of REACH South Africa asked me to write a position statement for the denomination on homosexuality. Later I was asked to do something on our practice of baptizing infants. Considering this last challenge, I decided to broaden the subject and put it in its context of Christian family. I wrote chapters on marriage, children and family, and added a chapter on various issues: singleness, mixed marriages, divorce and same-sex attraction. The book is now with a publisher.
